Privacy Policy

Atto has no accounts. It never asks for your name, email or phone number, and it never touches your booking-site credentials. The target time you set, the time sources you pick and your practice results all stay on the device.
In short: the developer collects and stores no personal data. Google SDKs are embedded for advertising and crash reporting, and those do collect a device identifier and usage events.
1. What leaves your device
Measuring time
Atto sends a HEAD request to the time source you chose and reads only the Date header from the response. If you pick a standard-time server it exchanges an SNTP packet instead. These requests carry nothing that identifies you. The server sees an IP address and a User-Agent, exactly as it would for any web visit. Those logs belong to that server's operator; Atto does not keep them.
Advertising
Google AdMob serves the ads. AdMob may collect the device advertising identifier (IDFA), information about ads you saw, and coarse region derived from your IP address. If you decline the iOS tracking prompt, that data is not used for personalised advertising. Users in the EU and UK see Google's consent screen first.
Crashes and usage
Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash log with the device model and OS version when the app terminates unexpectedly. Firebase Analytics records screen-level events such as app open, sync requested and countdown started. Neither carries anything you typed or which event you are booking.
2. Data types collected
| Type | Collected by | Purpose | Linked to you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Device identifier (IDFA) | Google AdMob | Advertising, analytics | Not linked |
| Advertising data | Google AdMob | Advertising | Not linked |
| Product interaction | Firebase Analytics | Analytics | Not linked |
| Purchases | Firebase Analytics | Analytics | Not linked |
| Crash data | Firebase Crashlytics | App functionality | Not linked |
| Performance data | Firebase Crashlytics | App functionality | Not linked |
Because there are no accounts, none of this is tied to your identity. The advertising identifier can be used for tracking as iOS defines it, which is why the app asks for tracking permission.
3. Payments
Atto Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Atto never sees a card number or payment method. Only the fact that you own it is stored on the device.
4. Stored on the device only
Your target time, chosen time sources and favourites, haptic pattern and lead compensation, reaction times measured in practice mode, and credits earned from rewarded ads. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
5. Permissions
Atto asks for Focus status so it can warn you when Do Not Disturb is off while a countdown is waiting. It does not read which Focus you are in. Declining leaves every other feature working. Atto does not use location, contacts, photos or the microphone.
6. Your choices
- Turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track in Settings to stop personalised advertising.
- Buy Atto Pro and the ad SDK stops requesting ads.
- In the EU and UK you can reopen the advertising consent screen from the app's settings.
- Delete the app and everything stored on the device is gone.
7. Children
Atto is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Third-party policies
For how Google handles this data, see the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Ads Processor Terms.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. If Atto starts collecting more, the App Store privacy details are updated in the same release.
